52 Week Photo Challenge // Week 10: Perspective

This week's photo challenge is "Perspective": Perspective for the purpose of this challenge is the relationship of objects in the scene. If you really want a challenge this is a good chance to use forced perspective.

Hey there!

I have to start off with saying that this challenge was definitely a "challenge" for me. (sorry, had to say it.)

I started with broccoli, which did not work out as I wished. :( Yeah, it was a crazy idea. (You'll see those funny shots later in this post.)

To get back to the subject...I was planning on going with one of my "Adventures with the Broctree" (broccoli tree)...but somehow I just couldn't get myself to do it. My imagination didn't seem to be in it's best state of mind today. Ahh! Not cool when your already behind on the photo challenge, and then you have no idea what your gonna do for it! Anyway, I was trying my best to create something with what I had taken earlier...and it still wasn't working. I looked across my dining room table and was watching what my mom was doing:

Color coordinating colored pencils. :) (haha, try saying that 10 times!)

I went to grab my camera off the table to snap a few pictures of the pretty colors, and realized my card was still in my PC. Ha, slightly tired I guess. :)

I put my card in, turned it on and saw a yellow pencil, that said blue on it. "How ironic" I thought! "Hmmm, blue written on a yellow pencil. Now who was trying to fool us?" Ahem, after I took pictures of this "ironic" colored pencil, I read the whole sentence on the pencil.

"Ideal for marking blue prints."

Yeah...

So I'm just gonna pretend I didn't see that whole sentence, and go with what I first thought: That someone accidentally printed the wrong color for the pencil.

I am sorry that I didn't come up with some great forced perspective photo for you all...but to a point it's forced. Just not forced in the way most "forced perspective" photos are forced. This one you have to force yourself to see from my crazy perspective. :)

And now for "The Adventures with Broctree"!

disclaimer: I apologize for any thing I said in this post that may have seemed out of sorts. Remember, my imagination is dreaming right now. Good night, hopefully the next challenge will be more exciting and better related to the subject at hand! :) (maybe that yellow is doing something to my brain.)

I hope your enjoying the photos. Hey, if you want to see other photos, check out the Pinterest Board I am pinning to with my friends. :)

Also, all credits from the photo challenge were originally from Dogwood Photography here is the link.
