52 Week Photo Challenge // Week 5: Ten Shots

Hey guys! So I am super late for this challenge. :( We unanimously decided that we three needed extra time for this challenge, and gave ourselves two more days. However, I had the flu over the weekend! Blahhh...not fun whatsoever. :( Thankfully it was only a 24hr kind of flu. The recovery took a bit, just because I was so weak. I wasn't exactly sure what to snap a pic of this week. Or I guess I should say snap "10" pics of this week.

Haha. Anyway, back to the challenge. Week 5: Ten Shots - Shoot 10 shots of the same subject. Each shot should be from a different angle, distance, and focal length. Share your favorite image from the set.

This morning I had finished in the shower, everyone but my visiting sister from Canada (Yay!) and her family were up. I decided even though my hair was wet, I wasn't letting another day go by without taking my challenge photo. So on goes the hoodie. On goes the coat. Change my camera lens to my 75-300mm and head out the door. (Yikes! It was cold at 6:45 in the mornin!)

Okay, don't get me wrong. I love my backyard. But sometimes I get selfish and wish I lived in the country, where it was more land than buildings. :( But, like in everything, you face a challenge, and you overcome it, right?! Haha so I decided I needed to just start taking pictures. After rambling around in the backyard awhile, where most things look in need of spring, I settled with a pine cone and pine needles. Not just ordinary pine needles, but ones that to me look lavender-ish. Which I thought was really pretty. :)

Now that I babbled, here is the picture. Enjoy!

I hope your enjoying the photos. Hey, if you want to see other photos check out the Pinterest board I am pinning to with my friends. :)

Also, all credits from the photo challenge were originally from Dogwood Photography here is the link.

See you guys next week!
